Female vs. Male Starting Salaries Based on Penguin Recruitment’s Data Analysis

Breaking Down Geo-Graduate Salaries by Gender

Penguin Recruitment is committed to fair and transparent recruitment practices. Our recent analysis of geo-graduate starting salaries revealed what could be considered an encouraging trend:

Interesting Fact: Based on our clients’ recruitment outcomes, female geo-graduates earned £580 more per annum on average than their male counterparts.

With 34% of our placements being female — above industry norms — it’s pleasing to see that gender inclusivity is on the rise.

Our data also showed that females in our sample group achieved higher degree grades on average, which is likely to have contributed to this salary difference. Nonetheless we’re proud to support an inclusive and fair recruitment process and clearly our employer clients feel the same.
