Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer
Location: Manchester & North West
Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 (DOE)

We are working with a leading environmental services provider that is looking to recruit a skilled Water Treatment Engineer to cover sites across the North West. This is an excellent opportunity for a Water Treatment Engineer seeking a secure, long-term position within a growing and reputable company.

As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will deliver a wide range of water treatment services to commercial and industrial clients, ensuring systems remain compliant, efficient, and safe.

The Role – Water Treatment Engineer

As a Water Treatment Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Chemical dosing of closed systems, cooling towers, and steam boilers
  • Carrying out spa balance tank cleans and water quality testing
  • Completing chlorination and disinfection of domestic water systems
  • Conducting water sampling, on-site analysis, and performance monitoring
  • Producing accurate service reports and maintaining site documentation
  • Ensuring all work complies with current health, safety, and environmental legislation

Requirements

To be successful in this Water Treatment Engineer position, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer or within water hygiene / treatment
  • Confidence working independently across client sites
  • A solid understanding of compliance standards and system maintenance
