Planner / Senior Planner | Exeter | Black Box Planning
Location: Exeter
Salary: £35,000/£40,000
Penguin Recruitment are working with Black Box Planning, a growing specialist planning consultancy, who are looking to expand their team in Exeter. The Role
- Delivering planning advice across a varied project portfolio
- Preparing planning applications, appraisals and planning strategy reports
- Supporting strategic-scale development projects
- Managing projects and working with multidisciplinary consultant teams
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Providing clear, evidence-led planning advice
- Contributing to the continued growth of the Exeter office
Requirements
- Experience working within town planning, ideally in consultancy
- Strong understanding of the planning process
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to think strategically and commercially
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- For Senior/Associate level, 5+ years’ planning experience and solid EIA expertise are key requirements
- RTPI membership/chartership is desirable depending on level
