Our client, a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy, has been operating in the UK for over 30 years. They are currently seeking a Senior or Principal level Transport Engineer to join a friendly team in Leicester. To be considered for this Transport Engineer role you will;
- Hold a BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
- 5 years post graduate experience
- Chartered or working towards with ICE, CIHT or TPP
- Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously
- Maintaining strong client relationships
- Strong knowledge of local transport policies
- Ability to liaise with Highways Engineers, Planning Consultants, Architects and clients
- Prepare high quality transport statements, transport assessments and project documentation
- Be proficient in relevant transport software and traffic modelling software
- Strong communication skills
- Carry out complex junction analysis
- Be a positive team player
- Full driving licence
