Senior Geotechnical Engineer – Birmingham
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000
We’re looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a busy and growing team in Birmingham. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead on geotechnical design and site investigations for a range of projects, from infrastructure and development to environmental works.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading geotechnical design and providing technical guidance to the team.
- Carrying out and reviewing site investigations, interpreting data, and producing recommendations.
- Working closely with other engineers and project managers to deliver high-quality results.
- Supporting and mentoring junior staff.
- Preparing reports, proposals, and attending client meetings.
What we’re looking for:
- Chartered or near-chartered status in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Significant experience in geotechnical design, site investigations, and project management.
- Strong understanding of UK geotechnical standards and codes.
- Confident communicator with good stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
