Join a friendly and passionate ecological consultancy working across the South East, with projects covering protected species, habitat creation, restoration and Biodiversity Net Gain. They are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their team in Kent.
As a Senior Ecologist, you will:
- Lead protected species and habitat surveys
- Undertake ecological assessments and BNG work
- Prepare technical reports and plans using QGIS/ArcGIS
- Manage projects and liaise with clients and multidisciplinary teams
- Prepare and oversee protected species licence applications
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior ecologists
- Support habitat creation, restoration and mitigation strategies

Requirements:
- 5+ years’ ecological consultancy experience
- Relevant ecology/environmental degree
- CIEEM membership
- Protected species licence(s), with progress towards others
- Strong UKHab, BNG, QGIS/ArcGIS and report-writing experience
- Project management and client liaison experience
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
- Full right to work in the UK
- Living in or within a commutable distance of the Kent office
