The Role
As a Senior Ecologist, you will lead ecological input across projects, manage surveys, and deliver high-quality reports and assessments. The Senior Ecologist will also mentor junior staff, liaise with clients, support bid preparation, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. You’ll play a key role in shaping project outcomes and driving innovation within the team.
Requirements
- Degree in Ecology or related field
- Minimum 5+ years’ consultancy experience
- Strong knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and survey techniques
- Experience with EcIA, licensing, and mitigation
- Membership of CIEEM (or working towards)
- Full UK driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK
- Must live in or near the Birmingham office
