A forward-thinking environmental and acoustic consultancy is seeking a Senior Acoustic Consultant to join its Bristol office. As a Senior Acoustic Consultant, you’ll combine technical expertise with creative problem-solving to deliver sustainable, high-quality acoustic design. You’ll play a key role in managing complex projects, supporting clients, and helping shape the next generation of acoustic practice.

Duties for the role of Senior Acoustic Consultant include:

Leading and delivering building acoustics projects from concept to completion
-
Producing detailed acoustic designs and reports compliant with UK standards
-
Undertaking sound insulation, vibration, and environmental testing

Working with software such as Odeon, CATT, INSUL, Cadna/A, and Revit
-
Collaborating across disciplines to integrate acoustics within wider BIM workflows

Mentoring junior colleagues and supporting their professional development
Requirements:
-
Proven experience in building acoustics

Excellent communication and project-management skills
-
Knowledge of construction acoustics, design principles, and UK regulations
-
Degree in Acoustics or a related field; MIOA preferred
