We’re seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Ecologist to join a growing environmental consultancy in Milton Keynes. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an ambitious team working on a diverse range of exciting projects across multiple sectors.
In this role, you’ll be involved in a variety of ecological surveys and assessments, supporting projects that contribute to biodiversity and sustainable development. From preliminary ecological appraisals to protected species surveys and mitigation strategies, you’ll enjoy a varied and rewarding workload where no two days are the same.

Key responsibilities:
- Conducting field surveys and ecological assessments
- Supporting projects from initial design stages through to construction
- Producing clear, accurate, and high-quality technical reports
- Collaborating with planners, engineers, and other environmental professionals
- Contributing to the development of practical, nature-positive solutions
What we’re looking for:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Ecology or a related field
- Experience in ecological surveying and report writing (consultancy experience desirable)
- Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and industry best practice
- A proactive attitude with genuine enthusiasm for the natural environment
- A willingness to learn, develop, and grow within the team
