Acoustic Consultant
Dublin | €40,000 – €50,000 (DOE)

We’re working with a well-established acoustic consultancy in Dublin that’s looking to grow its team with the addition of an Acoustic Consultant. The company has built a strong reputation as a specialist practice, delivering high-quality, practical acoustic advice across a wide range of projects.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety. You’ll split your time between environmental acoustics (planning support) and building acoustics (design and construction), giving you exposure to the full lifecycle of projects and the chance to develop broad technical expertise.

What you’ll be doing

  • Running your own projects from start to finish

  • Carrying out environmental noise assessments for planning applications

  • Providing building acoustics advice at design and construction stages

  • Working directly with clients, architects, and local authorities

  • Conducting site visits, surveys, analysis and reporting

Project exposure

You’ll work across a mix of:

  • Residential schemes

  • Hospitality developments

  • Commercial projects

  • Mixed-use sites

What they’re looking for

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Acoustics or a related discipline

  • Experience in environmental and building acoustics

  • Confidence managing projects independently

  • Strong reporting and client communication skills

  • Full right to work in Ireland
