Job Title: Senior Acoustic Consultant
Location: Dublin
Salary: €50,000-€60,000 + Benefits
A well-established multidisciplinary consultancy is expanding its Dublin office and is seeking an experienced Senior Acoustic Consultant to join the team. This role offers the chance to take a leading position on significant projects across building acoustics, environmental noise, and vibration throughout Ireland.
You’ll be responsible for guiding projects from early concept stages through delivery, managing important client relationships, and producing clear, robust technical documentation. There’s also a strong emphasis on supporting junior colleagues and helping drive the technical development of the acoustics team as it continues to grow.

Key Duties
-
Lead and deliver acoustic and vibration assessments across multiple sectors

Undertake noise monitoring, site inspections and acoustic modelling

Prepare Environmental Statement chapters and detailed technical reports

Build strong client relationships and support business development activities

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the team’s technical growth

Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality project outcomes
About You
-
Degree in Acoustics, Physics, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years’ experience within acoustic consultancy

Strong background in building acoustics, environmental noise and vibration
-
Proficiency with modelling tools such as CadnaA, SoundPLAN or Odeon
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

IOA membership beneficial
