They support clients in understanding their legal responsibilities, carrying out accurate system assessments, and maintaining full compliance. Rather than offering a wide range of services, my client focuses solely on water system safety, delivering high standards and reliable solutions across the UK.

Role Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Water Hygiene Plumber to join a trusted and growing team. The successful Water Hygiene Engineer will play a key role in maintaining and improving water systems across a range of commercial sites throughout the North West.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £28,000 – £35,000 (depending on experience)
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out temperature monitoring and water sampling
  • Perform tank cleans, disinfections, and TMV servicing
  • Complete mains chlorination and showerhead descaling
  • Assist with closed system flushing and testing
  • Undertake plumbing remedials, pipework modifications, and tank replacements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer or in a plumbing role
  • Knowledge of ACoP L8 and HSG 274
  • NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 in Plumbing (minimum)
  • G3 Unvented
