Senior Planner

Location: Gatwick

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting the largest independent planning and highways consultancy in the South East, in their search for a senior planner. They are seeking a professional planner to support a variety of exciting and large profile, DCO and EIA projects. As a Senior Planner, you will be expected to lead small projects from inception to completion, attend client meetings, liaise with external consultants and our multi-disciplinary team, and be an active team player in medium to larger projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead small projects from inception to completion
  • Attend client meetings and liaise with external consultants
  • Work as an active team player in medium to larger projects
  • Support a variety of DCO and EIA projects

Qualifications

  • Good all-round knowledge of the UK planning system and the workings of local government
  • Three plus years of experience in the planning industry
  • MRTPI qualified or in the process of being qualified
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Experience in DCO / EIA projects is desirable

Day-to-Day

  • Liaising with external consultants and our multi-disciplinary team
  • Leading small projects and supporting larger projects
  • Attending client meetings and ensuring project completion
