Senior Town Planner

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an established and reputable Chartered Town Planning Consultancy in their hire of an ambitious Town Planner to their Bedford based team!

The current close-knit team works from the head office in Bedford, however they also have a London base. The team work collaboratively on wide-ranging projects, delivering a variety of pre-planning and formal applications, appeals, and site appraisals within the residential and commercial sectors, across London and the South-East.

As part of the team, you will deliver a full range of planning and development services including site appraisals, planning applications, appeals, lawful certificates, prior approvals, advertisement consents, section 106 agreements, enforcement resolutions and strategic planning. You will actively contribute to the further growth of the team and workload, liaise with clients, and negotiate with planning authorities.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will be MRTPI Chartered with previous experience at Senior level, or as a Consultant who is looking for a step up. Private sector experience ideal, however candidates with public sector backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. You will be organised and take pride in your work, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be a team player!
