We are currently working with an award-winning and multidisciplined Sustainability and Energy Consultancy as they look to add an experienced and qualified Senior Sustainability Consultant to their technical team.

This Senior Energy Consultant role will carry the following responsibilities:

  • Attending pre-application meetings with the LPA and GLA, and providing briefing notes
  • Undertaking overheating, daylight and Energy performance analyses using IES-VE
  • Completing ESOS Assessments
  • Advising on building fabric, services and renewable energy specifications
  • Conducting Carbon Footprinting Reports
  • Coordinating technical solutions across multiple services to present one viable solution
  • Liaising with planning officers and the GLA to seek approval for your strategies and field queries
  • Attending tender interviews to assist in securing appointments on new schemes
  • Assessing and interpreting technical datasheets and architectural drawings

To be considered for this role of Senior Energy Consultant position, you will ideally:

  • Have 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Be a qualified NDEA Level 3, 4 & 5
  • Have experience undertaking Part L compliance assessments for residential and commercial properties
  • Be a qualified ESOS Lead Assessor
  • Have Full Membership of a relevant professional body (eg CIBSE)
  • Be a Low Carbon Consultant (LCC) and Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA)
  • Have experience with Carbon Footprinting
