About the Senior Ecologist Role
This consultancy is looking for individuals with:
- A degree in ecology or a related field.
- Holding or experience working under protected species licences.
- Knowledge of UKHab and its integration with Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) and National Vegetation Classification (NVC).
- Proven project management skills
- In-depth knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and planning policies.
- Experience with assessment systems such as EcIA, EIA, and HRA.
- A valid driving licence
Additional expertise in GIS software, bat call analysis, or public inquiry experience is highly desirable.
