Acoustic Consultant

Location: Remote

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE

Penguin Recruitment is pleased to be working with a privately owned multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy who provide specialist environmental, mechanical and electrical services to a wide range of public & private sector clients! My client operates out of over 10 locations within the UK and also works on an international basis in Eastern Europe & Asia. Their Acoustics team is a close-knit group of engineers who cover all aspects of acoustics, noise & vibration and they offer excellent career progression, a culture that embraces work/life balance and an excellent remuneration package!

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have demonstrable experience undertaking BS4142, BB93 or BS8233 assessments.
  • Happy working independently and as part of a team.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • IOA Membership.
  • Qualified to degree level in Acoustics, or another relevant discipline.

You will assist the team in delivering technical project work from start to completion for small to medium sized project. Your role will involve liaising with clients, engineers, internal teams and other stakeholders throughout the process. Duties will include:

  • Acoustic modelling.
  • Noise monitoring.
  • Report writing.
  • Site visits.
  • Fee proposals.
  • CPD.
