Senior Acoustic Consultant – London

Penguin Recruitment is proud to be representing one of the UK’s leading Acoustic Consultancies in their search for an exceptional Acoustician to assist in developing my client’s London presence! My client has experienced continual growth year on year and has a focal point to make a difference through sustainable building design; joining as the newest member of the team you will have the chance to assist my client in achieving their main goal so candidates looking for an exciting new position should apply ASAP!

Requirements:

Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years’ commercial experience – specifically with experience in building acoustics, ideally within the education sector.

Membership of the Institute of Acoustics and a full UK driving licence are also essential.

An in-depth technical knowledge & demonstrable practical experience of building acoustics is essential – candidates who also hold BS4142 experience are advantageous.

Applicants should have a fantastic work ethic, excellent communication skills and a desire to assist in the technical development of my client’s acoustics team!

Daily duties:

  • Undertake noise assessments and surveys.
  • Continued professional development.
  • Noise modelling work using software including CadnaA & ODEON.
  • Prepare and complete technical reports.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities and engineers regarding project requirements.
  • Support in the preparation of fee proposals.
