Retrofit Coordinator

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
Join a long-established, multidisciplinary construction consultancy with nearly 50 years of industry leadership. With over 250 staff and offices nationwide, this organisation provides integrated services across architecture, surveying, project management, engineering, and sustainability – and they are now looking to expand their retrofit team in Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deliver retrofit projects in line with PAS 2035 and PAS 2030 requirements
- Review and assure the quality of Retrofit Assessments and Designs
- Coordinate project stages from initial assessment to final implementation
- Offer strategic guidance on energy improvements and survey requirements
- Conduct desktop reviews and site inspections, producing detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with internal engineers, designers, and external consultants
- Apply SAP modelling and assess thermal bridging for performance simulation
- Take part in CPD, client meetings, and knowledge-sharing initiatives
- Support wider business development and marketing efforts as required
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or a related discipline
- Level 5 Diploma in Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management
- Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency and Retrofit of Traditional Buildings
- In-depth knowledge of retrofit standards, risk mitigation, and compliance pathways
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex deliverables and work across multidisciplinary teams
