Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a large and highly regarded Development Consultancy on the appointment of a Principal Planner for their team in Bristol. This role will focus on energy projects and is a permanent role.

The successful Principal Planner will join a team of highly experienced experts in the energy sector covering developments ranging from solar power, battery storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, tidal power, energy from waste and on and offshore wind including the associated infrastructure.

The applying Principal Planner should hold/be able to demonstrate the following;

-An RTPI accredited degree or a similar relevant degree;

-MRTPI or working towards it;

-Experience in the energy sector;

-Commercial mindset;

-Enthusiastic and professional;

-Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
