A unique opportunity has arisen for a Principal Ornithologist to lead a dynamic Ecology team within a forward-thinking environmental consultancy. This Principal Ornithologist role involves delivering high-quality ornithological advice on impactful projects across the low-carbon economy.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage medium to large-scale projects, delivering Environmental Impact Assessments and Habitat Regulations Appraisals.
- Innovate and enhance service offerings in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and clients, using your excellent communication skills.
- Drive expertise in modelling techniques such as collision risk and spatial modelling.
- Mentor junior staff and provide expert technical advice.
Principal Ornithologist Requirements:
- Extensive ornithological experience with a focus on sustainable development.
- Strong knowledge of UK legislation and EIA.
- Degree in ecology or a related field
- Full driving licence and car
- Right to work in the UK
