My client, a UK based Consultancy which specialises in Civil and Structural Engineering, is searching for a Principal Drainage Engineer to lead their Team in London.
It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in Engineering (including a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering) and have achieved or are working towards chartered status.
It is also essential for applicants to have experience working within a UK based Consultancy completing detailed Drainage designs using Infodrainage, Microdrainage or Causeway Flow.
It is also beneficial for applicants to have experience mentoring team members and completing Flood Risk Assessments and rainwater garden design.
Typically the role will involve the following;
-Residential, Commercial and Industrial Development Projects.
-Detailed Drainage designs using Microdrainage and Infodrainage.
-Surface Water Management Plans.
-Sewer and SuDS designs using Microdrainage.
-Flood Risk Assessments.
-Flood Alleviation Schemes.
-Mentor Team Members.
-Frequent liaison with Private Sector Clients, Housing Developers and Business Associates to develop business opportunities.
