Job Title: Principal Designer

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000

They are on the lookout for a Principal Designer to hit the ground running for their team in Birmingham.

Duties for the role of Principal Designer include:
- Help deliver technical projects from planning stages through to new build delivery
- Implement the requirements of Building safety Act 2022 and Secondary Legislations 2023
- Lead the design team and other project team members, as well liaising with clients
- Carry out site visits and ensure projects comply with regulations and high ethical standards are achieved
Skills and experience for the role of Principal Designer include:
- Relevant degree within construction
- Strong experience delivering health and safety and CDM services
- MCIOB or MCIAT registered
- A relevant health and safety professional qualification
- NEBOSH General or Construction certificate
- Excellent knowledge of CDM regulations
- Experienced with Microsoft Office
- Previous experience within a consultancy role
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
