My client, a highly regarded consultancy is looking to recruit a Planning Director to help drive forward the North West team, based out of Manchester. This is a permanent position and offers hybrid working arrangements.

The incoming Planning Director will use their experience and reputation in the North West to help build the company’s reputation through supporting the existing team to deliver excellent results for existing clients, alongside bringing forward new instructions. Currently the team is working on schemes in the residential, retail, commercial and renewables sectors however the business also has experience in the leisure, education and roadside sectors.

The company has a national reach and offers building consultancy, commercial, planning and residential property services to clients across the UK. The company has Planning teams strategically placed throughout the UK which allows for collaboration and an ability for cross-selling utilising contacts from other areas of the business.

In order to apply for this role, candidates should have an appropriate qualification, MRTPI status and relevant planning experience at Associate Director or Director level. You should be a strong leader, trainer and communicator. An important part of this role is to generate fees to help drive the business forward so the candidate should have significant contacts, loyal clients and a demonstratable history of hitting fee KPI’s.
