£35000 - £45000 per annum + + benefits
Our client’s projects vary enormously from schemes with property developers, landowners, affordable housing providers and pension fund managers to private individuals, householders and lobby and interest groups.
Due to an increase in instructions, our client now needs two Town Planners to join the team and help deliver the projects and build on the company’s reputation as a leading consultancy on the South Coast.
Join this small but experienced and balanced team and provide a range of services to your client base that includes Site appraisals, Planning applications and appeals, Making representations to Planning Committees, Planning Enforcement matters, Development Plan representations / site promotion, Pre-application advice, Certificates of lawfulness, Changes of use and Advice on planning obligations (S106) and developer contributions.
Suitable candidates will hold a formal qualification in Town Planning (Masters/Postgraduate/First Degree), full membership of the RTPI (or eligible for full Chartered Membership soon), relevant experience preferably within the private sector, commercial awareness and the ability to work on own initiative. You should have knowledge and experience of Town & Country Planning regulations and be an excellent communicator. Applicants are required to hold a full driving licence.
