Our client is looking for an experienced Junior Acoustic Consultant to join their independent consultancy that specialises in acoustic consultancy, materials, and sound testing to clients nationwide.
Junior Acoustic Consultant Requirements:
- Relevant Acoustics degree or similar
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of legislation and guidelines relevant to the acoustics sector
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- AMIOA with the Institute of Acoustics (IoA) (Desirable)
Junior Acoustic Consultant Duties:
- Noise modelling work using software including CadnaA & ODEON
- Environmental noise assessment and surveys
- Sound Insulation Testing
- Prepare and complete technical reports
- Liaise with clients regarding project requirements
- Site visits
