Our client is looking for an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join their well-established independent consultancy. The firm specialise in Building Acoustics, Testing, Planning, Noise, Vibration and Dust. They work on large to small scale projects across a wide range of commercial and private clients.
Junior Acoustic Consultant Requirements:
- Relevant degree and/or the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control
- Proficient with softwares such as; ODEON, INSUL Soundplan, CadnaA
- Relevant experience in a similar role
- Full UK Driving License
- Knowledge of legislation and guidelines relevant to the acoustics sector
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Junior Acoustic Consultant Duties:
- Effective project management
- Prepare and complete technical reports
- Noise modelling work using CadnaA
- Liaise with clients regarding project requirements
- Sound insulation testing
- Environmental noise assessment and surveys
