Graduate Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent mechanical engineering graduate to join a Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health engineering consultancy based near Basingstoke. Established over 45 years ago and with approximately 30 specialists on the team, this is an excellent position to kickstart your career in the building services industry and apply your educational knowledge.

The Junior Mechanical Design Engineer selected will be working in the built environment on a variety of projects alongside industry specialists. You’ll be:
- Carrying out site surveys for projects.
- Carrying out designs and calculations for mechanical services.
- Writing specifications for work.
- Working on and to budgets.
- Using REVIT and IES-VE software to model projects.
As a result, to be considered for the role you must:
- Have a degree in mechanical engineering, building physics (or a similar subject), with a focus on building design/modelling/physics.
- Ideally, have some experience as a mechanical design engineer within building services.
- Live in or near to Basingstoke.
- Have a permanent and full right to work in the UK.
- Have a full UK Driving Licence.
