Are you a recent geology, geoscience, geotechnical engineering, earth sciences or environmental engineering graduate looking for a position to kickstart you career? An exciting opportunity for a Graduate Geotechnical Site Engineer to join a team of ground investigation specialists in Durham, has presented itself. You’ll be trained by a team of experienced engineers, working for a company with over 50 years in the industry and with a huge variety of exciting projects around the North East to work on.
The Graduate Geotechnical Site Engineer selected will be:
- Attending and assisting with site walkovers and ground investigations.
- Borehole logging.
- Soil sampling.
- Ground water and gas monitoring.
- Preparing phase plans.
- Writing factual reports.

The successful Graduate Geotechnical Site Engineer will:
- Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, physical geography, geotechnical engineering, geoscience, environmental science or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
- Been keen to learn and develop ground investigation knowledge.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Commutable to Durham.
- Full right to work in the UK.
