Graduate Development Manager

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a renowned property development and investment company in their hire of a Graduate Development Manager to their team in New Malden!

Job Overview

In this role, the successful candidate will learn about business strategy and the development market. You will work closely with senior members of the team, and will initially focus on research and acquisition opportunities, before moving onto delivering these sites!

Some of your duties will include:

  • Liaise with and help to manage the wider team of consultants (Architects, Cost Consultants, Planners etc).
  • Undertake research projects e.g. socio-demographics of an area, smart city technology, competition analysis etc.
  • Assist with site analysis and sire appraisals.
  • Network with real estate agents whilst sourcing off-market opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree 2:1 or above in a planning or property field of study.
  • Capable multi-taskers with strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of business tools (Microsoft Work, Excel, PowerPoint).
