Our client is looking for a Graduate Acoustic Consultant to join their independent multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on various types of projects including residential, commercial, and mixed-use development.
Graduate Acoustic Consultant Requirements:
- Relevant Acoustics degree or similar
- Full UK driving license
- Computer Literate E.g. Excel & Microsoft Package
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience in conducting acoustic assessments and providing solutions (Desirable)
- Proficiency in acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA or Insul (Desirable)
- Member of the Institute of Acoustics (IoA) (Desirable)
Graduate Acoustic Consultant Duties:
- Acoustic assessments and undertaking noise monitoring
- Data analysis to provide clients recommendations for noise control
- Site visits
- Liaise with planning consultants, architects, engineers, and clients to design effective acoustic solutions
- Prepare technical reports outlining findings and proposed solutions
