An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Design Engineer to join a specialist engineering consultancy with an excellent reputation for delivering innovative geotechnical, tunnelling and infrastructure solutions across the UK and internationally. Based in Manchester, this Geotechnical Design Engineer role will involve:

Producing permanent and temporary geotechnical designs.

Supporting ground investigations and geotechnical assessments.

Designing foundations, retaining walls, earthworks and slope stability solutions.

Working on multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and carrying out site visits.

To be considered for this Geotechnical Design Engineer position, you should have:

An MEng or MSc in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.

Post-graduate experience in geotechnical engineering or tunnelling.

Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundations and geotechnical design.

A full UK driving licence.

Full right to work in the UK.

Residence in or within a reasonable commuting distance of the Manchester office.
