Job Title: Geoenvironmental Engineer
Location: Leicester
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 (dependent on experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join a growing consultancy based in Leicester. This role offers the chance to work on a wide range of contaminated land, ground investigation and remediation projects across the UK.
You will be part of a supportive and experienced team, gaining exposure to technically challenging projects while benefiting from clear progression opportunities and professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering Phase 1 and Phase 2 contaminated land assessments
- Interpreting site investigation data and producing technical reports
- Undertaking risk assessments and remediation strategies
- Liaising with clients, regulators and contractors
- Supporting project delivery from inception through to completion
Requirements:
- Degree in Geoenvironmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology or a related discipline
- Experience in contaminated land or ground investigation projects
- Knowledge of UK environmental legislation and guidance
- Strong report writing and communication skills
- Full UK driving licence
