Fire Engineer – London & Surrounding Areas

My client is an award-winning architectural design and engineering firm who are working towards a more sustainable future across a range of sectors! Their fire department is committed to providing an education-based fire design strategy; in turn they have created a fantastic working environment for engineers to work in. Employees are encouraged to flourish and develop with their own ideas, so this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Fire Engineer looking for their next exciting venture!

Candidates should have proven experience working in a similar position where you’ll have developed a wealth of experience and understanding in relation to current regulations and Approved Documents. You should be working towards Chartership & should be a member of the Institute of Fire Engineering (IFE). It is essential that you are able to apply engineering approaches to safety including risk assessments.

Candidates with experience in façade engineering are preferred but not essential.

Duties will include:

  • Design reviews including drawings, specifications, and presentations.
  • Research into fire safety implications of technology, materials, and approaches.
  • Team and project management.
  • Assist in creating proposals.
  • Provide consultancy and advice to clients.
