A Chester-based energy consultancy is currently seeking a qualified and motivated Energy Assessor to join its growing team. This role is ideal for a professional looking to apply their skills in a supportive, forward-thinking environment focused on sustainability and energy efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting energy assessments for non-domestic and/or domestic buildings
- Producing accurate EPCs using industry-standard software
- Completing assessments in line with SBEM methodology (for NDEA roles)
- Providing expert advice to clients on improving energy efficiency
- Maintaining accurate records and submitting completed reports on time
- Liaising with clients and ensuring a high level of customer service
Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified as a Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (NDEA Level 3/4) and/or Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)
- Strong understanding of SBEM software and methodology (e.g. DesignBuilder, iSBEM)
- Experience with EPC software
- Retrofit Assessor certification is desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence and own transport required
- Excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills
