Electrical Design Engineer

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the South East’s largest building services consultancy who provide innovative and quality design services to the built environment. The client is looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join their design team in Harrow and be exposed to numerous medium-sized engineering projects.
Role responsibilities for an Electrical Design Engineer include:
- Produce designs for engineering solutions and systems
- Produce concept plans for projects and work alongside the electrical engineering team and the CAD department
- Produce supporting reports for design concepts that are in compliance with the best standards and practice
- Work alongside the design team and carry out inspections of installations and review performance tests
- Review electrical design calculations and carry out client meetings
The ideal Electrical Design Engineer will have:
- BEng within a building services or electrical engineering field
- 3 years’ experience as an electrical engineer within the building services industry
- Working towards CIBSE chartership
- Proficiency with industry standard software such as Revit, Relux or Dialux
- Excellent Communication and organisational skills
