EIA Consultant – Southampton

Penguin Recruitment is proud to be representing a leading international engineering multi-disciplinary in their search for an experienced EIA Consultant to join an established UK Impact Assessment team & assist with the current Environmental Impact Assessment coordination workload. My client is known as one of the world’s leading environmental & health consultancies, so this is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking an established firm to work for within the industry. You will have the chance to work alongside other industry experts and various internal teams including Air Quality, Acoustics, Contaminated Land, Landscape, and many others. This role would mainly focus on their energy schemes but if candidates wish they can have the chance to assist Transport and Infrastructure projects also.

Candidates are required to have previous EIA Consultancy experience working in a UK based consultancy with an appropriate degree in an Environmental Sciences. Candidates should have a UK driving licence with access to a car.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Coordination and preparation of EIA projects.
  • Preparation of environmental baselines,
  • Feasibility studies.
  • Fee proposal support.
  • Assisting in environmental appraisals.
  • Report writing.
  • Client liaison.
