Building Performance Consultant

This is an excellent opportunity to join an independent MEP and sustainability consultancy who provide highly technical services across all sectors of the built environment. They are on the lookout for an established Building Performance Consultant to join their sustainability team in their offices southeast of London.

Key responsibilities for a Building Performance Consultant include:

  • Undertake Part L analysis and produce EPCs for non-domestic and commercial properties
  • Produce design reports such as sustainability and LZC feasibility studies
  • Use IES software to produce thermal models and carry out Part O and operational energy analysis
  • The role will incorporate aspects of BREEAM, such as evidence analysis of reports from projects

Undertake site visits and inspections for commercial projects

The ideal Building Performance consultant will have:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a relevant role within the construction industry
  • Degree within an energy, engineering, or sustainability discipline
  • Proficiency with IES-VE software to carry out energy modelling
  • It would be beneficial to have an energy assessor qualification such as an NDEA or OCDEA
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
