We are currently seeking a skilled BIM Manager for a reputable company in the building services sector. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with a strong background in Revit MEP and ISO 19650 standards to join an expanding team.
The ideal BIM Manager will:
- Must be a British citizen or hold valid working rights in the UK
- A technical qualification, ideally a university degree or diploma
- Essential experience includes:
- At least 5 years of experience with Revit MEP
- Expertise in COBie data implementation for MEP systems
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650
- Proven ability in implementing ISO 19650 standards
- Experience in obtaining BIM certification to ISO 19650 standards
Job responsibilities will include:
- Managing team resources to ensure project deadlines are met
- Implementing and maintaining ISO 19650 standards at BIM Stage 2 across all projects
- Identifying development needs for the Revit team and coordinating relevant training
- Developing and managing specific Revit templates and libraries
- Organizing internal BIM-related training sessions
- Overseeing BIM software licenses and negotiating competitive renewal rates with suppliers
- Researching new BIM-related software and procedures
- Keeping senior leadership informed of industry trends, best practices, and software advancements
- Reviewing Employer’s Information Requirements and BIM Execution Plans, ensuring compliance
- Collaborating closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients
