Salary: £27000-£35000 (dependent on experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Architectural Technologist to become part of a welcoming and experienced team based in Newcastle. This RIBA-chartered practice boasts a varied portfolio, covering Conservation, Education, Residential and Commercial projects. The studio takes pride in building lasting client relationships and consistently exceeding expectations with inventive and thoughtful design solutions.
The ideal Architectural Technologist will bring a strong level of post-qualification experience, demonstrating both technical expertise and creative flair. You’ll have a meticulous eye for detail and a proven ability to develop technical drawings to a high standard. Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must for this role.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architectural Technologist:
- Degree or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology
- Sufficient experience working in a professional practice post-qualification
- Advanced technical drafting skills
- Confident communication and documentation abilities
- Strong understanding of current UK building regulations
- Capable of managing workload efficiently and meeting deadlines
- Self-motivated with a proactive and enthusiastic work ethic
- Eagerness to grow and refine your professional skills
- Must be within commuting distance of Newcastle
- AutoCAD proficiency is essential
