Daily Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural design for a range of projects, with a strong focus on healthcare schemes
  • Develop and coordinate Revit models and deliver fully integrated design information from concept through construction documentation
  • Prepare drawings, specifications, and technical design packages across RIBA stages
  • Work closely with clients, consultants, and project teams to resolve design and technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, building regulations and sector-specific standards
  • Attend site visits and support contract administration as required
  • Mentor and support junior staff, fostering consistent delivery standards

Ideal Candidate

  • Qualified architect (ARB/RIBA) with ideally post-qualification experience
  • Proven healthcare experience or relevant exposure to complex, regulated project types
  • Strong Revit proficiency with experience producing coordinated technical information
  • Good knowledge of UK building regulations and healthcare estate requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy practice
