Daily Duties

  • Work across all RIBA stages, from initial concept design through to technical delivery and construction
  • Manage multiple or complex projects from inception to completion
  • Interpret project briefs and lead the development of design proposals through to detailed design
  • Liaise directly with clients, consultants, and wider project teams
  • Coordinate design submissions and technical information, including drawings, reports, and specifications
  • Manage project fees and invoicing, with administrative support where required
  • Contribute to securing new work and supporting business development activities
  • Promote the practice and contribute to positive profile and PR
  • Lead small project teams while collaborating within a larger multidisciplinary environment
  • Attend site visits and support regional project work as required

Ideal Candidate

  • ARB-registered UK-qualified Architect
  • Strong design capability supported by solid technical knowledge
  • Proven proficiency in Revit (essential)
  • Professional experience within a high-quality, design-led architectural practice
  • Strong interest in large-scale projects, with the ability to manage smaller or multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams and lead small teams independently
  • Excellent drawing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in client-facing roles
  • Awareness of the sensitivities involved in client communication and presentations
  • Ability to balance competing workloads across multiple projects
  • Demonstrable experience coordinating technical information and design submissions
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
