About the company and role:

I’m delighted to be supporting a long-standing client of mine in a period of growth within their business. My client has an excellent reputation in Scotland and have also won multiple awards with their projects. Some of their more recent work is across the Retail, Residential, Mixed Use, Education and Leisure sectors. The team are also actively Revit users so it would be essential to have a good working knowledge of the software.

To be successful in this role you must have several years post qualification experience working in a UK practice, ideally working on similar projects to those listed above. It should go without saying that you hold strong communication skills both verbally and written and a work-hard attitude towards your role. Previous exposure leading medium-large scale projects would be desirable.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Architect:

  • Several years post Part 3 experience and ideally a job runner.
  • Experience working on similar sectors to those above- Residential and Retail would be highly desirable.
  • Medium- Large scale project exposure is essential.
  • A full understanding on the UK building regulations and planning policies.
  • The ability to work to a high standard whilst multi-tasking and keeping to deadlines.
  • You should boast excellent design flare with strong technical abilities.
  • Full awareness and understanding of the Scottish building regulations.
  • Revit and AutoCAD knowledge are non-negotiable.
