Job Title: Remote Acoustic Consultant
Salary: £30,000-£40,000 + Benefits
A leading and rapidly expanding acoustic consultancy is seeking a Remote Acoustic Consultant to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an acoustics professional with early experience in environmental or building acoustics to accelerate their career within a supportive, high-performing consultancy.
As an Acoustic Consultant, you’ll support the delivery of noise surveys, acoustic assessments, technical reporting, and client communication across a diverse portfolio of UK-wide projects – all while working fully remotely. The company offers exceptional progression, structured development, and strong encouragement toward completing the IOA Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.

Key responsibilities:
-
Conducting environmental noise surveys and building acoustics assessments

Preparing high-quality technical reports and noise impact assessments

Supporting acoustic modelling and data analysis
-
Liaising with clients, planners, contractors, and local authorities

Assisting senior acousticians on complex project delivery

Supporting bids, proposals, and business development activities
Required skills & experience:
-
Degree in Acoustics, Physics, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
-
1-2 years’ experience in environmental or building acoustics
-
Strong technical writing and communication skills
-
Understanding of BS4142, BS8233, and planning-related guidance
-
Desire to work toward (or currently studying for) the IOA Diploma
-
Full UK driving licence
